Welcome to our website and thanks for taking a look!
We are very excited about building a network of gay-owned & gay-friendly business and service organizations here in the Bay area. We are just starting out and expect to add more resources each week for the lesbian, gay, bi and transgender residents in the area. Even though we are so close to the gayest city in the USA (according to the U.S. Census Bureau), there is still quite a bit of homophobia in the 21st century in our area.
Our Mission To provide the community with a comprehensive resource directory of gay-owned & gay-friendly businesses that treat all individuals in a dignified & non-discriminatory manner.
Our online presence is just beginning and in January, 2008 our first print publication was distributed all over the peninsula. In June 2008, we will publish our Marin/San Francisco edition. We believe that our dollars should be spent with those businesses that respect and support us, and not with those that pass judgement and hinder our rights to equal treatment.
